Step 1: Preliminary Evaluation

• Powered by Water Event Manager (WEM)
• A filter or preliminary evaluation of invoiced water mitigation costs based on predetermined threshold amounts
• Helps determine if addition detailed evaluation with drying log information is necessary
• Provides overview of the recommended cost and invoiced differential
• Excludes the use of specific make and model of equipment, as well as drying log information

Step 2: Detailed Evaluation

• Powered by Water Event Manager (WEM)
• Conducted based on predetermined size of cost differential from filter evaluation above
• A detailed or definitive evaluation of the drying process and invoiced water mitigation costs
• Incorporates drying log detail to ensure the most accurate assessment
• Provides detailed recommended and invoiced cost differentials

Step 3: Agreed Cost Determination

• A discussion between a contractor and our analyst helps determine an agreed cost for a water mitigation project

• Our analysts work for the carrier by negotiating with the contractor directly on appropriate pricing

• Our analysts are qualified in the science of drying and have years of practical experience which translates into an informed technical discussion

• By allowing our experts to interface with the mitigation vendor, time and money can be saved, resulting in reduced severity

• Generally, the agreed cost discussion is based on the evaluation results from the Detailed Evaluation or a Desktop Audit, although on occasion the evaluation results from Preliminary Evaluation information will be the basis for the discussion (preliminary evaluation results are used for the agreed cost discussion when drying logs are unavailable or incomplete)
