J. Dale Miller – Technical Manager
Mr. Miller is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and holds an MS in Zoology, with a concentration in environmental studies. He has over 35 years experience in environmental assessments in various fields including moisture mitigation, mold remediation, environmental health, aquatic toxicity, environmental impact assessment, biological and physical computer modeling, tidal transport studies, and fisheries stock assessments.
Mr. Miller’s expertise lies in data analyses and systems modeling, where he uses his background in field and laboratory experimental design, data collection techniques, database development, and statistical analyses. Mr. Miller has over 25 peer reviewed publications and scientific meeting presentations. During Mr. Miller’s career, he has prepared numerous (>50) technical reports for regulatory review, compliance and environmental permitting.
Mr. Miller has served as a member of the Biological Testing Subcommittee for Utility Water Act Group, Advisory Group for the State of Connecticut Water Quality Regulations, Citizens Advisor Committee for the United States Environmental Protection Agency, sponsored Long Island Sound Studies, and several steering committees for organization of environmental workshops. He is a member of the National Environmental Health Association and is IICRC (Institute of Inspections, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification) certified in Water Restoration Damage, Applied Structural Drying and Applied Microbial Remediation.
